Girls with Guts

Två av mina gamla tjejkompisar från Lofoten-tiden, Vera och Kristin har spenderat det sista halvåret på Svalbard. Svalbard verkar ha gett de där tjejerna mersmak för det kalla äventyret för nu är de på väg att korsa Svalbard på skidor. De söker sponsorer, så har vi nåt att ge dem borde vi sponsra detta tuffa äventyr. Vi kommer definitivt att få se mer av dem, kanske kommer de bli big walls-klättrare eller Nordpols-besökare. Theese crazy girls from my time in Lofoten are on their way to cross Spitsbergen on skiis with start in april and they are looking for sponsors. If we have anything to give them we should. Good luck, girls!

TUAB

Det här projektet gjorde jag i uppdrag åt TUAB (Torsby Utveckling AB) med Anna öhgren som AD och Åsa Jernfeldt som stylist/makeup. Det var fantastiskt kul. Orginaltanken var "ungt, svettigt och sensuellt" men kanske blev mina händer för fria då färger tonades ner och modellerna förvandlades till utomjordiska balettkreationer, släkt med Gollum (detta projekt plåtades innan vi träffade Gollum). Kommentarerna blev iallfall många och alla inblandade kommer att minnas detta arbete lång tid framöver. Frågan är om du skulle våga flytta till Torsby efter att du sett dessa bilder? Faktiskt så skulle jag vilja göra om samma uppdrag en gång till, idéen är genialisk. Det finns så mycket att hämta i idéer kring budskap på kroppen.

I was passing the fairytaly Fryken and realised that the lake was covered in gold. Its a truly rich country we are living in.

They rock harder than you dare to think

Last week I had the mission to photograph theese handsome guys that are called "Inspire". I couldnt really keep up my silent and quiet image-style in this mission cause theese boys are everything but quiet. They got a sound that flirts with the sparkling 80`s. Their hit "Bullrider" have been on the local charts the hole autumn. Watch out!

Pregnant woman, another saint

I have never been pregnant, but pregnancy is probably one of my favorite motives to photograph. It is something about feeling complete, magic, fullfilled, or if nothing else stuffed. I was happy I was able to catch her, she was one week over time. Katrin is not an obvious saint, and perhaps and because of that she is one. First time I met Katrin was 8 years ago and she was roving a boat in a harbour. She was really one of the faster rowers I ever seen. Thats one of the bigger memories I have from that time. Katrin rowing a little boat fast as if she would be in a competition. She was living on a pirateship in Las Galletas in Spain. I could never ever have imagined at that moment that I would photograph that speedy little rower pregnant 8 years later. The hole story is pregnant with a saintly craziness.

Livet, one of my allies

Livet and I had a hugh discussion about personal coaching. Taking someones image is about coaching that person to be able to get that special persons light. I think I coached her right, cause Livet became a queen on theese images, a queen in war, ready to do just anything. Thats how I see her.

Att porträttera Clara, Carl och Henrik har varit ett projekt som pågått mer eller mindre hela hösten, resultatet blev lika tindrande som Clara, Carl och Henrik själva.

Niina och Adam

To photograph weddings is like getting a key, an acess to two lovers private sphere. To two humans personal world. To two lovers that have decided that they want to take their relationship to a higher level. Its quite a honor. My work is to observ, bend, turn, twist and portray that certain feeling, to catch that sparkle that makes two people wanna live togheter forever. Of course I have the hole tradition of classic wedding photograhy to respect. I wanna do that with love, and a bit of personal touch.
